2001
Taking the Leap
cGMP Consulting was officially incorporated in 2001. What began as a transition from employee to independent consultant marked the foundation of a company built on integrity, responsiveness, and delivering real value to clients.
2004
First Direct Contract
Securing our first direct contract was a defining early milestone. It required persistence and relationship-building, but it initiated the positioning of cGMP Consulting as a trusted regulatory and validation partner within the pharmaceutical industry. This relationship evolved into a long-term anchor client and established our reputation for quality and reliability.
2006
First Hire
We made our first hire and slowly added staff as opportunities were discovered. We acquired contracts at several clients by being established as a corporation that met the requirements for contracting with large pharmaceutical organizations.
2009–2010
Challenge and Reinvention
During the economic downturn, client work slowed and staffing contracted. This period tested both resilience and direction. Through leveraging new subcontract opportunities, strong relationships, and renewed focus, the company regained momentum.
2012
Intentional Growth
cGMP Consulting adopts a more proactive approach to contacts and opportunities. We were able to win a few bigger, longer-term projects, that helped us rebuild our team and opened doors to other opportunities.
2014
First Direct College Hire
Hiring our first employee directly out of college was a pivotal growth milestone as all previous staff were experienced in the industry. It signaled confidence in long-term expansion and investment in developing talent. New talent has been a major factor in our success and growth. Revenues grow by 57%.
2017
More Than Doubled Our Team Size
This was a big growth year for cGMP Consulting. Execution was strong across multiple projects which helped revenues grow by 30%.
2019–2022
The Expansion Project
This period represents one of our most significant growth phases. Our largest project to date began with a small initial team and scaled rapidly to support a majority share of the project scope, demonstrating our ability to expand resources efficiently while maintaining performance and quality.
Throughout the engagement, our team consistently delivered measurable value, leading to multiple team members being directly hired by the client. This outcome reflects both the strength of our talent and the trust established through execution.
2023–2025
Strategic Stabilization & Resilience
Following the wind-down of the expansion project, staffing reduced. Despite this major shift, the company experienced only a modest revenue dip and remained stable. This period demonstrated the strength of our diversified client base and long-term partnerships.
Winning additional work at a newer client marked another key milestone. Out of 25 competing firms, only 4 were selected. This achievement reflects both our reputation and our ability to compete successfully against larger consulting organizations. This project signals continued growth and expansion into larger, more complex engagements.
2026
We’re thriving & Looking Ahead
Over 25 years, regulatory focus and market pressures have evolved but we are poised to handle them. Our nimble approach to this industry has proven to be one of our strongest features. Today, we have a deeply aligned management group, experienced consultants who have grown into leadership roles, and long-term client relationships built on trust.
What excites us most about the future is developing emerging talent, growing long-term client relationships, expanding into new project types and markets, and continuing to build a brand grounded in referrals and performance.
